It so happened that I was in Normandy during October last year. The cycling was superb. Country lanes were virtually empty, colours were magnificent, still some blue sky. My Grandfather used to say, make every post a winning post . I think he was right.. Early autumn is a splendid time to cycle. Grab the opportunity when you can.
